Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - Cosi fan Tutte

A brand new and unique opera production that is a combination of dance and opera by the renowned choreographer Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. The acclaimed choreographer implements her idea to contrast each character with a dancer and shows the variety and complexity of Così fan tutte. The staging lives by its movements and colours in the French noble style. Philippe Jordan conducts the Orchestre de lOpera national de Paris in a production that will be staged once more in the autumn 2017 season at the Opera national de Paris. The direction of Così fan tutte has been entrusted to the choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker who has chosen to embody each of the characters through both a singer and a dancer. From the preconceived notion of constant and eternal love, the lovers shift progressively towards the more complex realisation that feelings of love are more akin to perpetual motion.
