Adapted from the art of Frank Lloyd Wright (American, 1867–1959), the pattern on these cards began as a 1934 sketch the architect labeled “Machine Age Screen.” In 1973 Taliesin Architects used that image to design wall panels for the Biltmore Hotel in Phoenix, Arizona.
